Meet Leon Melton

Leon Melton ~ (918) 869-0489 Leon Melton was born and raised in Green Country. His career in the Nuisance Wildlife
Control Industry, started as a very young boy when he was hired to remove fox which were
predating on chickens. This service provided him the compensation of hamburgers and fries.

Through the years, Leon sharpened his wildlife removal skills to a point that has made him
one of the most proficient wildlife removal experts in the State of Oklahoma. Leon has served
as a director in the former Oklahoma Fur Harvesters Association, as well as an even more
respected President. Leon was instrumental in merging the Oklahoma Fur Harvesters
Association with the former First Oklahoma Trapper & Predator Callers Association, which is
now the Oklahoma Fur Bearers Alliance.

Leon advised and assisted the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation in organizing
and implementing the current Nuisance Wildlife Control Operator certification program,
standards and regulations, and was one of the first four certified Nuisance WIldlife Control
Operators in the State of Oklahoma.

Leon has served in an advisory capacity for the wildlife control industries top equipment
manufacturers, in seeking the most humane, effective and efficient wildlife control means and
methods available to the Wildlife Control Industry and it’s Professionals.

Leon Melton works “hand in hand” with Delta Waterfowl, Quail Unlimited and other
organizations in their conservation efforts of advancing predator management for waterfowl,

Leon is the sole proprietor of Melton’s Wildlife Control, located in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma,
and a Co-Owner, along with Tom Peterson, of B-Gone Wildlife Control Specialists, LLC. A
combined total of more than 40 years experience in Nuisance & Predatory Wildlife Control
